Online Brainspotting Therapy in Pennsylvania
Telehealth trauma therapy for adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or misunderstood
You may understand your patterns and know why certain situations affect you. Even with that insight, your emotional or physical responses may still feel difficult to change.
R&R Integrative Counseling offers online Brainspotting therapy for adults across Pennsylvania. Raven Ransom, LCMHC (NC), LPC (SC, PA), supports trauma survivors, neurodivergent adults, and people navigating CPTSD, attachment wounds, anxiety, relationship stress, identity stress, or feeling stuck after previous therapy.
Sessions for clients located in Pennsylvania are offered online rather than from a Pennsylvania office. You must join each appointment while physically in Pennsylvania.
When Insight Has Not Changed How You Respond
This approach may be worth discussing when
You can explain where a pattern began but still struggle when it happens in real time
Previous therapy gave you useful language without creating enough change in daily life
Conflict, reminders, or unexpected stress bring up reactions that feel hard to interrupt
You want room for body awareness as well as conversation
You value a therapist who will discuss fit, pacing, and the process openly
A Brief Look at Brainspotting
Brainspotting uses visual focus, body awareness, and focused attention while you process distressing experiences. It may be useful for people who find that insight alone has not changed their emotional or physical responses.
The Brainspotting and Brainspotting Intensives page explains the modality and longer-session format in more detail.
How Telehealth Works
in Pennsylvania
Raven's Pennsylvania LPC allows her to provide telehealth therapy to eligible clients throughout the state. Your home address does not need to be near a particular city, but your physical location during the appointment must be within Pennsylvania.
Choose a private place where you can speak freely and are unlikely to be interrupted. You will also need dependable internet and a camera-and-microphone setup that makes conversation clear. You can arrange the lighting, seating, headphones, or grounding objects in whatever way helps you stay engaged.
Ask about payment and insurance before selecting an appointment format. Coverage for a standard session may differ from coverage for an extended Brainspotting Intensive.
If Previous Therapy Gave You Insight but Not Enough Change
Learning why you respond in certain ways can be meaningful. It can also be frustrating when that understanding does not change what happens during conflict, stress, or moments that bring the past close again.
Previous therapy may still have helped you build language, awareness, and coping skills. Seeking a different approach does not erase that work or mean you failed. It may simply mean you want to explore another way of processing distressing experiences.
During the consultation, Raven can ask what was useful, what felt missing, and what you want to be different this time. You can also read Why Talk Therapy Didn't Work for Me and What Finally Did for more context about Raven's perspective.
Providing A Therapy Space Where You Do Not Have to Mask
Hi, I am Raven Ransom, LCMHC (NC), LPC (SC, PA). I hold an LPC credential in Pennsylvania and work with Pennsylvania clients through telehealth.
As a neurodivergent therapist, I know how painful it can be when people are asked to make themselves smaller, easier, or more acceptable in order to receive care.
My practice is built for adults who want therapy that is direct, affirming, and respectful. I will explain the process, be honest about fit, and make room for the ways you naturally communicate and process.
